Spring Training for Artists

The glorious Spring weather has found us doing what we love best "plein aire painting"

The gentle breeze catches the perfume of the orange bloosom, takes it to the Gulf and mingles it with the fresh salt air, it turns east and finds us as we paint at our easels.  The sights, sounds and perfume of Friday past will be stowed away in our memories.

This week, Violetta, Mary Rose and I are participating in "Art Walk"  a benefit with assists Largo Public Library

Our exhibition will be at
Art
600 East Bay Drive
Largo Florida

This beautiful gallery, is run by the personable Mary Byrd

Painting outdoors we have the added bonus of meeting friendly visitors and neighbours.
One man, namely Bill, walks/runs the beach daily, he has a kind disposition and always has a positive and  amusing comment and greeting.   He has decided that my name should be Helen Wisteria (he owns one of my wisteria paintings) then it will be in harmony with Mary Rose and Violetta and we can be also known as the three flowers.  Another friendly on-looker (St. Patrick's Day) commented that we resembled the shamrock, three petals.
Thanks you for viewing our blog and comments are truly appreciated.
