Violetta Paints Italy- Fiesole- The Biennale
The Plein Aire Cottage Artists represented the USA at the Florence Biennale in 2007. As the name implies the Biennale is held every two years. All three artists have received a lifetime invitation to exhibit at the Biennale. While in Florence, Violetta took a day trip to the most charming village of Fiesole. The city is located north of Florence and has the most spectaculr views over the city. Night time is also spectacular from this vantage point and we hope Violetta paints a nocturnal scene. Violetta painted a study during her trip and this past week,she completed this painting of Fiesole. Viva Italia. Molte Bene
