Martini's & Matisse on Saturday January 23, 2010 was once again a very special evening. Evening attire ranging from formal to cocktail was sported. A jazz band entertained us and the food catered by the best restaurants in the Tampa Bay area provided a delectable variety. Guppy's, E & E, Bonefish, Salt Rack Grill and several other. My painting was awarded to Sarah Tucker It is very rewarding to meet the person who will hang my painting in her home

Series 7 Plein Aire Cottage Artists at Guppys

A polytych - 5 panels with the main focal point of the painting being the bridge leading to Indian Rocks Beach. The fun viewers have is deciding which of the three artists painted which panel. Despite inclement weather of windy, blustery rain and extremely cold temperatures, the crowds came. Guppy's was packed with energy, laughter and collectors. Save Our Cottages Series 7 opened on January 8th. More than 70 new paintings of beautiful Indian Rocks Beach were unveiled and the show runs till Mar 21st. The Triptych behind the artists was painted on location on a little side street running off Gulf Blvd. The Mayor of Indian Rocks Beach is pictured with Mary Rose, Violetta and Helen Below are: Esther Hammer, Tampa Tribune, Robin Gonzalez, Author and Historian and their guests. The show will continue at Guppy's 1701 Gulf Blvd. Indian Rocks Beach through March. A must see
