Bloomsbury Life Style at Indian Rocks Beach, Florida

Mary Rose Painting en plein aire Mary Rose, Violetta, Lynn and Alanna Friday was plein aire painting this week.  Violetta and I painted by the beach entrance at 9th Avenue and Gulf Blvd.  The sandpipers were fussing along the shore, followed by the curlews and then the elegant pelicans. Mary Rose chose Beach Trail with colourful awnings and a trail to the ocean. Lunch time found us enjoying a grouper sandwich at Keegans, alfresco dining of course.  Ran into two friends, Alanna and Lyn who joined us for lunch and we talked travel and reminisced about fun trips taken and the future countries we want to visit. Spring Training for Artists

The glorious Spring weather has found us doing what we love best "plein aire painting" The gentle breeze catches the perfume of the orange bloosom, takes it to the Gulf and mingles it with the fresh salt air, it turns east and finds us as we paint at our easels.  The sights, sounds and perfume of Friday past will be stowed away in our memories.
