..  Plein Aire Cottage Artist, Mary Rose Holmes and her husband Dwight Holmes are overjoyed at the upcoming wedding of their only grand-daughter,  Mary Rose Ward to Matt Guilette.         
The Holmes have 8 grandchildren, seven boys and one girl.
This small family wedding will take place at Holmes Cottage, Indian Rocks Beach on June 4th.  Mary Rose being a 7th generation Floridian has selected a menu of local seafood, southern cuisine and an exquisite wedding cake.

She's a child of the fairest,
full of love, compassion and ambition of the rarest

She is the loving sister to four handsome brothers
and a dear friend to cousins and many, many others.

To watch her on horseback is one great treat
as she rides through the meadows often with bare feet
She needs not a saddle nor harness nor rein
Even on her wedding day she refuses to be vain

Sand, sea, sunset, stars and shells
will be the background to the chime of her wedding bells

May your days be blessed with joy and may
each evening find you glowing in the sunset.

A documentary film "Save Our Cottages"

Matt and Mary Rose wanted a Florida theme for the baby's room and animals will feature prominently in the bed linen and accessories. Artist Mary Rose Holmes paints palms on nursery walls Artist Mary Rose Holmes was commissioned to paint palm trees.  The parents want the child to enjoy the room for many years and decor can be changed as the baby grows.
