Summer Time, New Homes, Changes, Bespoke treasures

With Springtime comes change.  Families decide to move and leave behind years of beautiful memories. This can be a particularly emotional time, especially for  women.  The garden, the view, the memories contained within the rooms and the patina that develops with time are all special.

One family decided they wanted their view captured in oil, on canvas. Their lifetime home has recently sold.  Mary Rose Holmes visited the home, which overlooks the intercoastal waterway. The view is spectacular and the owners loved to look outside when they were cooking and spending time in their much loved kitchen. So many conversations, decisions and laughter happened right overlooking this view.

As we paint, we sing along to Barbara Streisand's famous song: "Memories like the corner of my mind, mistry waters coloured memories for the way we were"  Coloured pictures of the smiles we left behind, smiles we gave to one another for the way were were"

Each view we paint is unique, original and can not be captured again.  Timeless, one of a kind, plein air painting, on canvas.  Your view, your corner of the world captured in your heart and also on canvas can travel with you and be a timeless treasure
This treasured painting has hung in 3 homes and is a joyful memory
